The Södertörn Energy Research Network is a dynamic interdisciplinary network of early and mid-career researchers at Södertörn University dealing with energy issues in the Baltic and Eastern Europe (BEE) region. We tackle various theoretical and empirical aspects of green transitions, energy and climate justice and sustainability through history, sociology, political science, business studies and environmental studies. We aim at contributing to energy research focusing on BEE while keeping up with a quickly evolving research agenda in energy studies in general. In our regular online and on-site meetings we discuss our own work in progress and plan for networking activities with other researchers in the area. Our latest conference on Stocktaking of Research on Energy Security, Justice and Sustainability in The Baltic Sea Region and Eastern Europe was held in October 2024.
