Her research specialises in investigating the relationship between forests, governance and security in Europe, with a particular focus on the Baltic States. He takes interest in climate policy and carbon dioxide removal methods such as carbon capture and storage, forest management, biochar production, and soil carbon sequestration. Alexander is working in the <a href=\"http:\/\/(https:\/\/www.slu.se\/en\/departments\/forest-resource-management\/sections\/forest-planning\/forskningsprojekt\/sparc\/mer-om-sparc\/)\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"(https:\/\/www.slu.se\/en\/departments\/forest-resource-management\/sections\/forest-planning\/forskningsprojekt\/sparc\/mer-om-sparc\/)\">SPARC-project<\/a> with the aim of trying to understand actors&#8217; interests in relation to forestry and climate change and how policymakers may facilitate climate change target compliance.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Andrius Ka\u017eukauskas<\/strong> is a project researcher at the department of economics, S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University. He is an applied microeconomist who studies topics in environmental and energy economics, and behavioural economics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ekaterina Tarasova<\/strong> is a lecturer and project researcher at the Department of Department of Environmental, Development and Sustainability Studies, S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University. Her research is about social and political aspects of energy transitions. She currently carries out the research project about &nbsp;recognitional justice and planned coal phase-out in Poland and she is also involved in the research project about blue carbon sequestration. She has been engaged in the research project <em>Nuclear Legacies: Negotiating radioactivity in France, Russia and Sweden<\/em>&nbsp;(2015-2017) and <em>Atomic Heritage Goes Critical<\/em> (2018-2020). Within the project, she addressed the social process related to the decommissioning of the nuclear plant at Fessenheim (France), especially the memorialization and heritagization of nuclear power plants in France. She has been recently engaged in ecological issues within the Baltic and Eastern European region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Hugo Faber<\/strong> is a PhD candidate in Political Science at S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University, and has previously worked as an analyst in public administration. He does research on the power and politics involved in phasing out fossil and nuclear energy technologies, and on the discourses around energy security and energy markets. She has a background working with stakeholder engagement and social impact assessments in the hydropower and oil industries in Albania. Her dissertation focused on how sustainability standards impact corporate-community relations in the Albanian oil industry. Her current research focuses on conflicts around prospecting for \u2018transitions minerals\u2019 in Sweden.
